the modern room was a lovely surprise and the new bathroom was fantastic, making my stay even more enjoyable during my quick city explorations and leisurely park walks. You’re just a short stroll from Hofskirkja Church which is less than a 5-minute walk away.

Kitchen setup left much to be desired!!! No sink or stove and only paper dishes made meal prep difficult. Also, check-in process needed clearer instructions to avoid confusion!!!

i recently enjoyed a relaxing break at this guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations. we stayed in a cozy two-bedroom house with breathtaking views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. the owner was very friendly and helpful, making our two-night stay truly wonderful.

The environment was quite noisy due to poorly soundproofed rooms. I found myself being disturbed every time someone opened their door, which was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the location is remote with no dining options nearby, forcing me to travel far for food.

We absolutely loved hearing the playful sounds of newborn lambs around the property while relaxing in the cozy common room. There were great spots to unwind in the garden or enjoy a movie in the lounge area. The bathroom had a minor leak that caused a little mess, but it didn’t take away from the overall charm of our stay—just watch your step! 😊

We loved the cozy living room with fine views of the waterfall just behind the house! 🏞️ The breakfast spread was a feast of fresh salmon, cheese, and veggies that fueled our adventures. Plus, the wrap-around porch was perfection for soaking up nature alongside our friendly sheep neighbors!

Just an ideal choice for a cursory stop in Hof (Oraefi) with good price value. The room was cozy, and it had all we needed for a comfortable night. Don’t forget earplugs. the doors can be squeaky when others leave their rooms at night.

Great spot for the northern lights!

Had a really nice stay. The room was super comfy and clean, way better shared bathroom setup than other places. We saw the northern lights just a few minutes away! Totally remote, no light pollution. One thing though, if you’re looking for breakfast, you might want to grab something before you come here. Overall, loved the vibe!
